Dear Route Zero reader,
You may have noticed that this newsletter hasn’t landed in your inbox for a few weeks. There’s a good reason for that: I recently started a new job. It’s been a wonderful one so far, full of brilliant people and endless opportunities to do impactful journalism about what’s next in the auto industry.
Getting up to speed there—and moving across the country soon—are taking up my full attention. As a result, this newsletter will be hitting pause.
This was entirely my decision, to be clear. But when I started this side project last summer, I decided early on that it wouldn’t be worth doing if it became sporadic, neglected, or felt like a half-measure. For now, it’s time to call it.
Above all, I want to thank you: the hundreds of industry pros who read, subscribed and shared Route Zero every week. I was consistently amazed by your positive feedback, your support, your ideas, your suggestions, and your engagement, all while I learned to write a newsletter while I did it. Those are lessons I’ll certainly carry forward in other projects. Until then, thanks again for reading, and you know where to find me if you need me.
Onward and upward,
—PG
